Things get a little tougher in Bolts. We expect athletes to have a basic understanding of gymnastics movements. Most classes include more raw strength and conditioning. We work on "perfecting" headstands and handstands. Vault and trampoline incorporate more dynamic aerial control. We continue to develop circling elements on the bars. Rings and parallel bars focus on static strength and holds. Beam dance advances to jumping, leaping and turning. And on floor we add depth to rolls and start working basic tumbling concepts like round offs and kick overs.
