If your kids are into slime, they aren't alone. Slime making became the hottest trend of 2017. It was so popular that we had to start buying glue by the gallon at BVRA summer camp. And while it's lots of fun, it can also be a great learning experience. Slime combines science and creativity into a gooey educational mess.
Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority (BVRA) is partnering with the Lewisburg Children's Museum (LCM) to bring you Winter Slime time! In this fun program, kids are invited to make three types of slime: Candy Cane Edible Slime, Blue Ice Slime, and Fluffy Snow Slime. Each child will leave with slime to take home.
This program is open to children 7 years and older. Spaces in the class are limited so sign up now.
LOCATION: This program will be held in the classroom at the Lewisburg Children's Museum. The LCM is located at 815 Market Street. Park on the east side of the building in the lot just off Market Street. Enter the building through Door #9. Follow the signage to the children's museum. Children will not allowed in the rest of the museum as it will be closed.
INSTRUCTOR: Jen Delsite is the Summer Camp Director at Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority. Jen has an educational background in Art Education. Her daughter set up a slime laboratory at home, and Jen has a lot of hands on experience with slime.
