Learning to Code: Ozobots and Block Coding

Learn and engage with micro-bot coding with BVRA and Customized Tutoring Services!

The language of robotics is defined by codes of instruction.  Using small – yet entertainingly powerful – Ozobots, students will learn how to decipher and write exact coding instructions through use of colors, logistics, and plenty of experimenting.   The Ozobots, which are the size of a ping-pong ball, are excellent tools for involving students to expand upon their math, language, and analytical skills while creating mazes, solving puzzles, and working with peers to generate solutions.

Exploration and deduction are the main tools used by students as they complete defined assignments and then create independent (or group) programming codes.

The activities and tasks involve algebra concepts such as graphing and numerical patterns as well as artistic concepts such as varying shapes and colors.  All classes are structured to adhere to individual learning styles and levels of education, and guaranteed to challenge the student within positive bounds.
