Flat ‘N Fast 5k/10k

Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority (BVRA) is excited to partner with the Miller Center, Shiva Technology, and Earls Bicycles for our 7th Annual Flat ‘N Fast 5K and 10K Run/Walk.  The race will take place on Saturday, November 11th on the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail. These two races, the 5K and the 10K, will give runners a choice of distance and an opportunity to run on the picturesque Buffalo Valley Rail Trail. Dogs are welcome to run with family members.

The race is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM and is open to all competitors.  Day-of Registration and Pre-registration check-in will start at 9:00 AM.  Registration will be held at the Lewisburg Trail Head and the Miller Center Courtyard.  Participants are welcome to park at the Miller Center, overflow parking at CSSI.  Please do not park at the trailhead as we will be attempting to keep the area clear for runners.  The 5K and 10K Run/Walk will be scored and timed by BVRA.  Awards will be given to the overall male and female for each race as well as the top three male and female athletes in the following categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-44, 45-65, and 65 and over.

Register by Monday, November 6th to receive a pre-registration discount—$30 for either distances. After pre-registration ends, the entry fee is $35.

The 7th Annual Flat 'N Fast will be Halloween themed so costumes are highly encouraged.

Pre-registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. Extra t-shirts will be available on the day of the race, as long as supplies last. All participants will receive a themed tote bag filled with fun prizes, a 10% off coupon to the Café at the Miller Center,  and a free sample of Miller Center granola.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to trail maintenance. Additional donations for the trail will be welcome.

If more information is needed about the event email Sarah Biddle at bvrailtrail@bvrec.org or call the BVRA office at (570) 524-4774.
