Cupcake Wars for Kids

Cupcake Wars Comes to Lewisburg

By popular demand! This popular program is based on the television show of the same name. Children will be paired into teams of two to create cupcakes. For the November session, groups will create "Fall Fun Cupcakes" with a each child encouraged to interpret fall in their own way.  The event will feature guest instructor and judge Naomi Reynolds, owner of Bella's Bliss, and cake artist extraordinaire.

NEW FOR FALL!
Starting in the fall of 2017, Cupcake wars will feature sessions for both older and younger bakers.  Full cupcake wars is geared towards bakers ages 9 and up and will run for 3 full hours.  During that time bakers will bake their own cupcakes, make frosting, and then decorate.  Younger bakers can attend a decorating only session.  This session will run for 1 hours and bakers will be provided with pre-baked cupcakes, and frosting.  They will decorate only.  Both groups will receive critiques from the guest judge.

Adults are encouraged to attend, but are not required to stay. BVRA will provide all ingredients and direction for young bakers.  BVRA will also provide a variety of cupcake toppings. Bakers are encouraged to bring toppings or ingredients that they would like to share with the group.

At the end of the event, cupcakes will be displayed and each baker will leave with treats to share with their families. Cupcakes will be judged based on theme, creativity and taste. Both the 1st and 2nd place winners will receive a prize.
