The Lewisburg Area Recreation Park is a 22-acre site developed as the first multi-generational destination park in the US. Free daily, dusk-to-dawn use is encouraged and reservations for private use of the beautiful and varied spaces and facilities may be made by calling the Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority (BVRA), managers of the park and its facilities.

Park Areas and Facilities include:

  • 3 Pavilions: Large Pavilion, Small Pavilion, and Shade Structure
  • Lewisburg Community Pool - open Memorial Day to Labor Day
  • Meadow greens
  • Planted partial-wetlands
  • Bridge spanning the Bull Run Creek
  • BVRA Ice Rink - open in winter depending on the weather
  • Warming House which is also the site of:
  • Skateboard Park - one of the largest public skate parks in Pennsylvania
  • Tennis Area - 5 tennis courts open to public use when not occupied by local teams or programming
  • Lifetrail - a series of exercise stations geared toward seniors

The West End park located on 15th Street featuring:

  • Varied and native tree and landscape plantings including habitat restoration complete with interpretive signage
  • Shade Structure
  • Game field
  • Nature trail
